
Rice with chicken and tomato sauce

Ingredients :
- 200 g of Basmati rice
- 500 g of chicken
- 400 g of PLANT whole peeled tomatoes
- 250 g of chicken broth
- 200 g of red peppers
- 1 onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tbsp PLANT tomato paste
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- A few saffron threads
- A few fresh parsley leaves
- Salt & pepper
Preparation :
Peel and roughly chop the onion, peel and crush the garlic.
Grill, peel the red peppers, then chop them coarsely.
Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat, add the garlic and onion and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the chicken pieces and cook, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes, add the cumin and saffron and cook, stirring for 3 minutes.
Add the rice, peeled tomatoes and tomato paste diluted in the chicken broth and bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and cook, covered, for 20 minutes, until the chicken and rice are tender.
Add the chopped peppers and parsley, cook, stirring, for 5 minutes.


View product
Remove from heat and serve immediately.
