Ingredients :
- 400 g of PLANT whole peeled tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons of PLANT tomato paste
- 500g of minced beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 pepper, diced
- 400g can of red beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 tablespoon of chili powder
- 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Preparation :
Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned (about 8-10 minutes).
Add the tomato paste, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper, and cook until softened (about 5-7 minutes).
Simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve hot with rice, cornbread or tortillas.
